I love these kind of places too.
"A place to sit in sweet repose,
Watch the water or simply doze.
A peaceful place to plan and dream,
While watching the ducks...splash and preen."
I take my grandchildren to the rivers and the lakes. Collect some rocks. Thank you dear friend for sharing the amazing poetry.

The sound of water joyfully visits my person. I sense it's strong and pleasing language of nothing and everything. I have wondered what sort of intuitive development its influence has on mankind.
Thank you for taking me to the waters!

Getting a bit too cold to be taking that dip now, better wait until warmer weather. Kathie
Down here in the south, we don't get many seasons, and the critters stay pretty much year round. I love to sit by my lake and watch all the birds; we have so many different kinds! I love to listen to the water and the frogs and turtles, the butterflies and bees, even my gator makes me smile (Ol' Grumpy)

It is so pretty! The only seasons we have here are hunting season, love bug season, snowbird season and HOT!
What a wonderful journey your words took us on, forgetting for a moment that Autumn has mistakenly assumed it is winter and your words bring a glimmer of hope, reminding us that spring will return to lighten our days.

Very well done, Valentine. When I read this I could picture a special place where the only sounds were wind and water, where calmness rules. There is a rhythmic quality to this that is very peaceful. A good write.
