"Heat Of The Night"

"Heat Of The Night"

A Poem by Valentine

 "Heat Of The Night"
As I lay...in your heat..
In the early morning hours.
I can feel, your heart beat...
In the room the scent of flowers.
Earlier...our two hearts raced,
And rapidly beat as one.
Then in the silence, slowly paced;
And welcomed the morning sun.
Laying in the aftermath,
Of perfect love and bliss.
I wonder if other lovers have,
The thrill, that is in our kiss.
All to soon the sun does rise...
The start of a brand new day;
And we stow our passion away;
Til the night, when it returns to stay.
As I again in your arms lay;
Flying to places I have never been.
Hitting new heights where I long to stay;
And never return to earth again.

A amazing poem of passion. I like the desire for the night where two lovers can find pleasure and peace. No weakness in the outstanding poem.

The heart does have a tendency to fly high above everything else when it is in love, and never wants to return to the earth again. Very nice Valentine.
