If yesterdays memories...

Could last for years;

Appearing in dreams,

And many tears.

Far across the world,

On the bed where you lay;

Is there one signal night,

Or even a day...

That a memory appears

From so long ago.

Do you ever wonder...

Why...it happened just so?

Is there ever a time...

That you wonder...what if?

Is your life also haunted,

By a life that was missed?

If two memories could join,

In God's space in time;

When Paradise finally comes,

Will you please be mine?

intriguing work, i found this really cool. sorry it took me so long just to get to this one. i have wondered that same question, i'm sure everyone has, time can fly so fast sometimes, i still remember doing a project and a play with my friends when i was 14, it was so fun. fast forward 4 years, and i'm not so sure if i'm ready to be an adult hahaha.

A-ha! Well said. "What if...". Our lives are filled with so many possibilities of alternate paths, and one cannot help but ponder those two words - and wonder if someone else is also thinking about that "what if" moment. Why did it happen that way, and what could have been. This is the stuff that permeates daydreams, night dreams, and perhaps fantasies as well.
