"Angel's Tears"

"Angel's Tears"

A Poem by Valentine

'Angel's Tears'

Rain so softly falling down,

Angel's tears, striking the ground.

Weeping...ever so...quietly,

Tears forming a river, then creating a sea.

Angel's tears...for a life gone wrong;

Washing away pain...before very long.

Drop after drop...striking the land,

Telling lost souls, they are out of 'His' hand.

A love ending, another marriage died,

Rain fell down...as all of the angels cried.

A young woman lost...while trying to give life,

Drops falling for the loss and the pain and strife.

A child 'locked out'...a latch key kid,

No one to see what this child did.

But the angels saw, pulled him from the street,

Tears fell again, a child alone...but so sweet.

The angels watched...with tears in their eyes

While another overdoses...on drugs, and dies.

Tears fall...and hit...the angel's chest,

As another A.I.D.S. patient is laid to rest.

Rain from their eyes as the angels see,

The homeless persons pain and misery.

So many tears, from God's angels do flow,

As a small sea..into a ocean grows.!

Rain from the angel's eyes, striking the earth,

Each asking 'Lord,' how much is just one person worth?'

such a heart dear Valentine ..such a heart .and so much ground to cover ..whew! my impression is this poem came from a deep and compassionate place in your spirit ..;) however :))) the punctuation and breaks (a bit here ..a bit there) stumble my read of this ... but the emotion of it crushes me now ..at my keyboard .. so who can say what is what in such a case ... not me for sure ..reminds me of something i experienced in the early 70's at a student concert of mine ..:) will tell you all if you like ;)

The tears of Angels. So many needed today.

I believe every life had value and I believe God does too. Thank you dear friend for sharing the amazing poetry.

Each soul had a purpose. Each soul is part of our world. Could be the one to save us all.
A sad write Kathie, seems like there is more sorrow than joys in the world today.

For many ...yes. Others bring pain on themselves. I pity those also. Kathie
A lovely heartfelt bunch of words, you have shown us life in its hardships and reality for so many. Love and kindness always the key.

Guess those tears really help the countries farmers. Kathie
Very nice. One comment about this line: Tears forming a river, then creating a sea.
I read poetry aloud when possible. When I was reading this I stumbled a bit. I think this line might flow better if you eliminated the word "creating". Just a thought.
