"Calm Over Rocky Waters"

Rippling cool waters, making a sound,

Tumbling over a rock bed as it drops down.

Over the rocks, to become a waterfall,

Spraying waters that beckon and call.

A place to stand and watch the spray,

Let it chase...ill thoughts, far away.

Or to lie beneath..the loud roar,

Until sad thoughts, leave...the minds door.

A place to sit in sweet repose,

Watch the water or simply doze.

A peaceful place to plan and dream,

While watching the ducks..splash and preen.

A Heavenly place, to just get away,

Forget the problems... of the day.

Water's fallingsound, so nice to hear,

A place for hours to just disappear.

Such a calming...the falling sound,

Of rippling waters, tumbling down.

I enjoyed the serene setting of your poem. A delight to read. I could almost hear the roar of a waterfall. There's so much beauty in nature. It's sometimes nice, to just relax and listen to its quiet symphony; chasing our worries away. Very profound and lovely imagery.
