Running across to join the play,
The kings and leaders decided to do.
For when came the month of May,
They fought to make the world new.
Little did they know of who was in charge,
Nor the stakes of such a match.
But it was a man with wisdom very large,
And a spirit more powerful than the batch.
He was an outsider,
A man who lived on his own.
He saw at hand what was the matter,
And quickly it caused him to groan.
The outsider watched from his house,
And saw the war unfolding in front of him.
It reminded him of the mouse,
Of how their minds were dim.
