Chapter 27

Vain looked at the death knight, but suddenly he was transported back to the castle in Elance. He was standing in front of CT, who was still sitting in the throne, and after Vain took a quick look around he tried to punch CT. But CT caught it and said, "Hello Vain, I am CT. Pleasure to make your acquaintance."

Before punching back and blasting Vain away through the entrance. Lumia pulled her spear out of her, but she couldn't stand up as CT stood up and placed his foot against her neck. Veto and Luxia stood up and were about to attack CT. When Vain flew back into the castle, carrying two black katanas, and swinging them at CT. But the swords disappeared before they can touch CT, CT then kicked Lumia off the ground with his left leg, and sent her towards Vain. Vain caught her, which pushed him back a bit,  and then he was struck in the head by CT's heel. Vain rotated his body and crashed into the ground, protecting Lumia from being crushed underneath him. Veto flew towards CT swinging his fists and guns wildly. While Luxia came from the other side and Vain rushed in from below. CT grab Veto's wrist, flipped around, and kicked him through the roof. Before grabbing Luxia's head between his leg and throwing her towards Vain. CT then showed up behind Veto, kicking him in the back, which sent him crashing into Vain and Luxia, and then into Lumia, who was on the ground. They all stood up and CT appeared in front of them. Vain, Veto, Lumia, and Luxia suddenly stopped for a moment.

Lumia held her head and said, "What happen? My head feels fussy." Vain shook his head to snap himself out of it and said, "You're not the only one." Veto agreed with Vain saying, "It feels like someone just ripped something out."

CT then faced his head to the entrance and lifted his left hand. A loud boom resounded in his hand and a blast of wind shot outwards, as his feet slid across the ground. CT smiled underneath his mask and he kept teleporting around. They all tried to keep their eyes on CT, but he kept moving around really fast. As if he was fighting something invisible to their eyes. So they decided to take this opportunity to go and help everyone. CT saw what they were doing and teleported in front of Luxia to stop her, but then he jumped out of her way. As something landed down in the same spot destroying the ground, before CT blocked an attack which sent him further away. With CT out of her way, Luxia freed Lumia, and laid her down gently on the ground. Lumia, Luxia, and Veto healed everybody, while Vain tried to keep an eye on CT. Everyone slowly open their eyes, sat up, and their heads started to feel weird. They all just stayed still and watched CT fight the invisible being.

CT and the invisible being both got struck and blown through walls. But another hole was soon made in the wall where the entity flew through. CT then appeared in the center of the room and a loud boom was heard as their fists collided, sending a shock wave outwards. Vain shielded Luvia, Cecily, Relean, and Freena with his body, while Luvia shielded Yuni and Freveon. CT then step back and said, "You've really improve Void. So do you understand your power now?"

Everyone wonder who he was talking to and who was Void. Void looked at everyone and then back to CT and said, "Yeah, which makes me more certain you did something to Lumia's memories. The full height of my power erases the memories of me and makes it so no one can see me. But that doesn't explain why Lumia forgot about you, why you haven't forgotten about me, and why you can see me? I still don't know what you are or what your end goal is, but I will make sure to get in your way."

CT laughed and everyone wondered why, since they couldn't hear Void's voice. Once CT stop laughing, he said, "Oh... I see, I see. As for what I am, hm... I guess you can say I am the god of gods. After all, I did gave you guys your powers. Of course for my own amusement, everything is for my own amusement. What you weaklings gone through, suffered, experienced, and argued about, I don't care. If it doesn't get my blood boiling then it's a waste of time to care about. Now then I'll take my leave, until next time Void."

CT fixed all the damages and brought everyone he made disappear back, before instantly disappearing in front of them. Void then instantly appear in front of them and everyone's memories of him slowly starts coming back to them. Vain then said, "Oh s**t, I haven't dealt with that knight."

But before he could leave, Void stopped him, and said, "I already dealt with him, so everything is okay. Everyone, thank you for the hard work. You all deserve a good feast and rest. I'll get the maids and butlers started on cooking and have Tasha and Bastion be in charge of it."

All the knights cheered and raised their hands. Void was glad they were ecstatic and walked away to handle the arrangements. Cecily, Freena, and Relean were excited, while Vain showed no signs of excitement. Luvia only smiled at them and Lumia hugged Yuni excited for the party. Veto was excited as well, but Luxia grabbed the collar of his coat and dragged him away to help prepare. Soon night fell and everyone was having fun talking, eating, drinking, and enjoying the night. Void wore a nice black and white suit and talked with some aristocrats and businessmen. Lumia wore a black and white suit as well, greeting and talking to some people, before she found Yuni, in her blue and white dress, and they started dancing. Luxia wore a servers dress and helped serve drinks, clean tables, and setting food on tables. While Veto wore a nice white suit and dine on the food and drinks. Luvia wore a pure white dress and talked to some people, danced with Relean and Cecily, and then went to look for Vain.

She left the party hall and walked around the moonlit castle grounds. She couldn't find him anywhere and she remember where he likes to be. So she neatly held her dress down as she flew to the roof of the castle and Vain was there. Standing on top of the roof and looking out at the town, his coat fluttering in the wind. Luvia stood beside him and hugged his arm, pressing her cheek against his shoulder. Vain gave a quick glance at her and ask, "Did you have fun?" She reply, "Yes, but Freena was looking for you. She wants to dance with you and so does Cecily."

Vain said, "I see," and it got quiet for a while. Until Luvia giggle and ask, "You still don't like parties, do you?" Vain reply, "Nope, I prefer this quiet and peaceful atmosphere. Nothing to annoy me, nothing to think about, just the scenery... and you to admire."

Luvia blushed at Vain's word and he smiled  at her. He then gave her a kiss and that made her smile. Vain told her to go back, enjoy the party, and to apologize to Cecily and Freena. So Luvia left Vain alone and everyone enjoyed the rest of the night.

Ten years later, Vain and Luvia were standing in front of a black magic portal and everyone they knew were seeing them off. Cecily was crying since they were leaving, but she's already twenty-seven years old and was even married to one of Void's children. Freveon rubbed her head trying to cheer her up and Void shook Vain's hand, saying, "Thanks for all the help. I'll see you later." Vain reply, "Yeah."

Veto said, "Hey Vain try not to have too much fun without me. Also it be great to eat Luvia's cooking again." Luxia nudge him and said, "What's that suppose to mean? Hey Vain continue working hard as always and we'll see you soon. Also stay out of trouble until we come."

Vain reply, "No promises," and Luvia reply, "We'll try our best to stay out of trouble." Lumia hugged Luvia and said, "Stay safe, okay?" Luvia nodded her head and Lumia look at Vain, saying, "Protect her with all your might." Vain reply, "Like I need you to tell me that."

Both Vain and Luvia hugged Cecily and she hugged them back. Vain said, "Come on, you're my kid right? Then hold your head high and challenge the world. Who knows maybe we'll see each other again." Luvia said, "We taught you everything we could. So take care of yourself and be a great parent to your children. Always remember to love as much as you are given." Cecily wiped away her tears and nodded her head, before saying, "I will. I'll make you both proud of me. Just wait and see." She gave them a bright smile and everyone waved goodbye, as Vain and Luvia both left through the gate.

One year later, Veto and Luxia both left through a gate and thirty years after that Void and Lumia both left. Void said goodbye to his remaining seven wives and to his children and grand kids. Lumia said goodbye to them as well, but she couldn't say it to Yuni as she was no longer there. She had passed away a few days ago and they had to say their goodbye then. So with everything said, done, and left to the next generations, Void and Lumia both left through the gate.
