Chapter 7: Relationship

Void walk over to Luvia and rub her head.

"That must have been hard, but you did pretty good Luvia. Sorry... we made you put up with our selfishness."

"I-It's okay, I'm sorry for interrupting your guy's fight."

Void smile at Luvia's response and reply, "I see you're still as soft as ever and Vain as hard as ever."

Veto turn his back to everyone as he tries to suppress a laugh and everyone stared at him.

"What's wrong with you?"

"N-Nothing... nothing at all."

Veto answer Lumia's question as Void face palm his face and sigh.

"And I see, Veto still can't take conversations seriously without thinking something dirty."

Vain walk over to Luvia as he said that and took his coat from her. He put it on, with her help, securing it snugly in place with the chain. After that everyone walk away from Veto, back to Void's office, and leaving him alone.

He then ran after everyone saying, "Hey! Don't leave me behind!"

Once they all made it back to the room, Tasha was waiting in the room, and bow towards them. Once everyone sat down, both Bastion and Tasha prepare their drinks. Three water for Vain, Void, and Luxia while everyone else had tea. Void then started talking as he work at his desk.

"So... back to what we were talking about before."

"Yeah, yeah we know. I'm just planning to explore and probably do some stuff here and there."

"I see you still don't stick to plans."

"Isn't that obvious. Even when I do come up with one I usually don't do it. Better to go with the flow."

"Like when we were at the inn and you said you'll wait with the owner. Only to wait outside after talking to Freena."

Luvia giggle after saying that and Vain drank his cup of water without saying anything. Void laugh a little at the scene and everyone else did as well, except Freena. She just eyed Vain curiously while drinking her tea. Void then shifted the conversation to Veto.

"What about you Veto?"

"Hm... if I could I'd just spend my entire time playing. But then Luxia would probably kill me, so I guess I'll do some exploring."

"I see, good to know Luxia is still able to keep you busy."

"Of course, I can't leave that lazy kid all to himself. He sleep a whole day away or spend it doing no work."

"Hey hey, I'm no kid Luxia. I just hate work."

"Exactly what kids say. Any grown adult has to work if they plan to live and enjoy life. So get yourself together."

Everyone laugh at the scene since it was like a mother was scolding her child. Even though they are siblings and Veto is older then Luxia, it's clearly obvious who was the more mature one. After that Void look at Freena and directed the attention in the room to her.

"So what do you plan to do from here? Want to travel with Vain or do you want to go home?"

"Huh, uh... um..."

Freena's thoughts scramble around inside her head as she tries to come up with something to say. Vain then interrupted giving Freena time to think.

"Why you asking if she wants to travel with me and Luvia?"

"Well I've notice she been eyeing you a lot."

"Really?"

Vain look at Freena and she averted her gaze as she takes a sip of tea. Freveon giggle at the sight of her sister acting like a girl with a crush.

"U-Um... but won't father be mad if I start travelling without telling him?"

"Don't worry, I'll tell him. He'll probably feel like digging a hole and burying himself alive. But he'll get over it."

"O-Okay."

"Then it's settle, Vain take good care of her."

"So I don't get a say in this?"

"Nope. Go with the flow, wasn't it?"

"What about Luvia?"

"I'm fine with it."

"Fine, but I'm not like you Void. I'm fine with having just Luvia."

Freena look a little sad and Freveon plus Luvia try cheering her up. Void and Vain continue their chat as if they were the only ones in the room.

"Luvia seems fine with sharing you. Not to mention having a harem is pretty energetic."

"Knowing you, you probably already have one and married to each. All of them who you care about, but again I'm not like you. I'm not such a nice guy, even though Luvia keeps saying it. Having just one important person is enough for me."

"I see then try not to make her cry too hard, Mr. Bad Guy."

"No promises."

"Excuse me for my interruption Master Void, but what is your relationship with them?"

Everyone look at Bastion before they all look at Void, waiting for him to answer.

"Do you really want to know Bastion?"

"Yes, it is so I can inform the others. If they're your family then we would have to help them too. Not helping them even though they were your family would be disrespectful."

"I see, but wouldn't I just tell you and everyone else to help them when necessary?"

"Of course, it is as you say but seeing how well everyone gets along so well. I figure you were more then friends."

"I see, you're quite observant Bastion."

"Thank you."

"Well if you really want to know, I guess we are somewhat a family. We're one-hundred percent blood related, but we're not siblings. The siblings are as paired me and Lumia, Vain and Luvia, and Veto and Luxia. I'm pretty sure you know what I'm hinting at."

"They're kind of a family, blood related, but not siblings, then does that mean..."

Void nodded at his conclusion and said, "Exactly, Vain and Veto are not my brothers, they are me. Same with Luvia and Luxia they're not our sisters but Lumia herself. They are us from another parallel world. We lived very different lives, act differently, and experience different things. But we are absolutely the same person. But feel free to treat them as my siblings, it would be easier on everyone that way."

"I see, wait so does that mean..."

Bastion look at Vain and Luvia before looking back at Void who nodded his head. Veto then interrupted Bastion before he could finish.

"Speaking of relationships, I've just realize we have probably one of each in our group. Harem, Les, incest, normal, and gay."

Everyone didn't care about what Veto said since they all already knew. Well except four people Freveon, Bastion, Freena, and Tasha. But they pay no attention to it since no one else did. Void then cleared his throat and decided to end the conversation there.

"Now then, we're done here. Everyone is free to leave as for me, I'll continue to work."

When Void said that everyone got up and left the room. Freveon, Bastion, and Tasha said goodbye to everyone in front of Void's room. Veto and Luxia said their goodbyes in town as they walk away from Vain's group. Luvia and Freena were shopping around town for supplies while Vain waited patiently without saying anything. Everything was store in Vain's magic storage so they wouldn't have to carry it. Once they finish shopping, they return to the inn, and Vain wanted to rent two rooms for one night. The owner took out two keys and laid them on the table.

Before he took them, Freena cut in, and said, "One room is enough."

"You sure about that?"

"Yes, and I'd feel bad if you kept paying for my room."

"I see, money isn't an issue. I'll just sell more swords, but if that's what you want. Then we'll be using one room."

"Yes, sir."

Vain took one key and the owner took the other key back. Vain left seven silver coins at the counter, five for the room, and two for meals. When they got in the room, Vain took off his coat, removing his sword and it's sheath from his hip, and hanging them on a chair. The belt used to attach the sheath to the waist was hi tech. Splitting in half and withdrawing into the sheath. Then springing out of the sheath and connecting together, embracing whatever it was pressed against.

After setting their stuff down, they left the room, and sat around a table to eat. After they finish, they went back to their room, the girls slept in the bed, and Vain sat beside it on Luvia's side. Once Freena was asleep, Vain open the windows, letting the moonlight in, and waking Luvia from her sleep.

"Is something wrong, Darling? Did you want to sleep in the bed with us? There is enough space for three."

"No, I was just thinking about something."

"Oh."

He look back at Luvia and asked, "Are you still fine with someone like me?"

Luvia giggle quietly, so as not to wake Freena, and reply, "Of course, I won't regret it and I won't change my mind."

"Even though the entire universe will decree our love a taboo?"

She giggle again and reply, "Weren't you the one who said, 'If everyone deems this love a taboo then I'm more then ready to fight them.' Are you having second thoughts?"

Vain smile at her remark, walk over to her, sat down, and said, "Nope, none at all. I'm still more then happy to fight everyone for this love. Just wanted to make sure you were still fine with it."

"You worry about me too much."

"I don't want to hear that from you. Especially when you worry more then me."

"Oh, hush."

She gave him a kiss silencing him, Vain then bit onto his glove, and took it off. So they could look at each others wedding rings. Luvia's ring was on her left and Vain was on his right, for obvious reasons. They press their hands together, making their rings touch, before kissing again, and finally going back to sleep.
