Extract3: The Silence

Extract3: The Silence

A Poem by Vaiduka

I’ll close my eyes and shut my lips,

I’ll grab a rope and tie my wrists.

The silence comes here over hills,

Along with deadly black white pills.

I’m breathing silence, licking faith,

Till fingertips begin to fade…

Till featured face goes into pale,

And ticking heart is begins to fail.

If chance is given by the god,

Why not to listen to your heart?

If silence is the best way through

Why not this way those things to do?

I smell the fear in empty room,

As silence lands on top of you,

There is no word for you to hear,

And faith of us will disappear.
