MadHouse.

MadHouse.

A Poem by Vaiduka

Close the doors, you useless rabbit,
Shut the window stranger-bird,
What a mad and helpless habit,
No one wants to be a third.

First one gets to sit on pillow,
Second goes to clean the house,
And a third one comes as dinner,
And most likely it’s a mouse!

What a mad and funny house,
No one wants to taste the mouse;
If the rabbit would be third,
It is safe for mouse and bird.

Rabbit puts its lovely hat,
And goes to look for hunter-cat,
But its journey quickly ends,
As he meets there couple “friends”

Lonely hat sits quietly in the middle,
And regrets that rabbit became a tasteful dinner.
