Two Captains, One Beard.

Two Captains, One Beard.

A Poem by Dripping Chocolate Madness
"

Surely the worst of the lot

"
Papaya the Pirate
And Old Captain Dave
Two of the scurviest, nerviest knaves
A ship made of (insert metaphorical phrase)
Set sail on a sea made of wit

Writing the wind and scribing the storms
Signing the sirens and singing the songs
Of the old battered masters and of those not yet born
With lanterns on bow, brightly lit

Two life-lusty sailors
With talented tongues
Dextrous of finger
And inky of thumb
Sailing together and singing a song
Singing. Not caring a whit.

It's a fun poem. Papaya the pirate and captain Dave should feel flattered by your efforts. Made me smile.
