A steady hum

A steady hum

A Poem by Dripping Chocolate Madness
"

Low, slow, and comforting

"
Tremble
Like a frayed thread end
Thimble steadied
By shaking hand
Candles
Quaking in the wind
We hold each other tightly and
Say: 'Be still, my quivering little friend.'

I read your poem, thought about how when I'm trembling from cold or anxiety, my dog Paloma lies down along my back to tenderly warm me up. Very tenderly stated. Then I read Ana Papaya's kitten comment . . . it's all in the same vein! (((HUGS))) Fondly, Margie

This is sweet and tender.
Like soothing a frightened little kitten.
