I just call it resourceful

There's a thing that I have written

But none can never read it

It's scribed behind my wild eyes

So you can't even see it

I need it there to tell me how

I'm supposed to talk

And what to say if on a day

You might start to balk

Are rude or just sarcastic

Without it, I lack so much charm

But with it, I'm fantastic

Interesting, if only as chart to the unknown hidden. Perhaps each stanza creates a riddle. Would have thought that clambering to the back of your eyes might take time plus. be just a little painful> Why not a knotted rag, close at hand. The cashier never need know. Intriguing content, belied by metre!
