The Best DefenseA Poem by Dripping Chocolate MadnessIs dumb luckHe waved the branches in the air... She didn't seem to see, or care. The ripened fruit flew all around, Bouncysquishing on the ground, And under heel, as she approached. She pulled her shotgun from the coach. He waved them harder, up and down, And the ripened fruit flew all around. He cried out "No! I'm here in peace!" And held out the branches for her to see. She didn't seem to see, or care And the ripened fruit flew through the air. She could smell his stinking fear, And she could almost taste his tears. He cowered low; and she took aim He shook his branches at her in vain And then she slipped! Her whole plan foiled! Thanks to peace. And olive oil.
