Back to BasicsA Poem by Dripping Chocolate MadnessIt was a standard deviation. Everything is back to normal, now. (thank goodness)
I walked the Rock candy footstones
that plot the path to your door;
Gingerbread Oak and a Gumdrop threshold. And I see you inside, through sugar glass window panes, Smiling and stirring your pot. Come out, little witch. For, I no longer fear you. Come out to play. Come out with your Toll House temptations, and ply my mind with contented surrender. I recognize your upturned lip, and your shying of the cheek. I recognize your dangling curl and your ravenous eye. And I know for what your soul hungers. Come out, little witch. For, you are equal parts sad and beautiful and fascinating. Come out from your fairy tale. And come into mine. © 2020 Dripping Chocolate MadnessFeatured Review
