Disingenuous Bliss

Disingenuous Bliss

A Poem by Vaalor_Goldsong

How do I describe
What I feel today
It's like taking it to overtime
But losing anyway

How do I describe
To you what I'm seeing
I wasn't even shot
But somehow I'm still bleeding

The same every day
Hard for me to stay sane
There's always that one piece i'm missing
I'm so used to this
Disingenuous bliss
I'm sure it's a barrel I'm kissing

How do I describe
This hurt inside
Like writing a beautiful poem
And getting no replies

How do I describe it
Maybe this will aid you
It's like being with your family
Just to find out they hate you

The same every day
Hard for me to stay sane
There's always that one piece i'm missing
I'm so used to this
Disingenuous bliss
I'm sure it's a barrel I'm kissing
