Wardom

Wardom

A Poem by Vladimir Jr

Wardom
Degenerative assessment or decompressed tonality.
Harakiri on a galvanized battlefield;
Napalmed sky endorses the blood drainage.
A giant lizard amidst nictating rapturously.
The natural order declined.
Masses militate in favour of the militainment.
A child nurses his torpedo drink.
Hallebarde has struck.
A gladiator lost dignity to a lion.
Deranked baboons kill each other with sticks.
Saturn’s rings plummeted on our residence.

This is such a hauntingly vivid and disturbing piece! I see themes of war, destruction, and perhaps some dehumanizing effects of war.
It feels apocalyptic in its tone, "Saturn’s rings plummeted on our residence."
Yet it creates familiar images. Well-done with this!
