OUR FIRST DATE

A poem about our very special first date :)

I can never forget our first date,

I was pretty sad how long I had to wait. 

You looked so beautiful, shy, cute and sweet, 

You have no idea how fast you made my heart beat

I was so nervous to meet you then,

I remember leaving the house around ten.

You were so happy that day,

You gave me many reasons to stay.

I couldn't wait to see your gorgeous face,

When i did I knew i was in the right place.

You were so cute coming off that train,

You were so shy when you hugged me in the rain.

It was pretty awkward at the start,

But we still never wanted to be apart.

We had some lunch and had a nice talk,

We then finished and went for a walk.

Looking around the shops being around you,

Made me the happiest person i could ever be. 

After the walk the time suddenly flew,

We went into the cinemas to see a movie.

It felt so nice, you laying on my chest.

it was a feeling i can't explain, it was the best.

I really enjoyed our very first kiss,

It was a special moment i just couldn't miss.

I loved it when you were in my arms,

It made me so happy and very calm.

It was hard to leave you after all this,

Especially after our amazing first kiss.

I just wanted to stay with you longer,

Because with you my heart felt stronger.

We had the cutest walk at your place,

It was amazing feeling your warm embrace.

We stopped walking to kiss in such a cute way,

It was so special, that's all i can say.

A few hours later i had to leave that night,

It took us so long to say goodbye.

We were hugging each other very tight,

And then you started to cry.

It hurt so much seeing you that way,

I couldn't leave yet, i had to stay.

I made you feel better by holding you tight,

I then left by kissing you goodnight.

This day was the greatest of them all,

I just couldn't wait till our next phone call.

We had fun that day right from the start,

You and i now own each others heart.

I love you so much my gorgeous girl.

You are now my whole wide world.

wow,this is such a beautiful poem. it's so sweet and full of love and it's the best way to describe your first date. it's always much sweeter when the guys write about their girlfriends as well. awesome poem, well written.

Theres to many amazing lines to pick a favourite.
After re reading it i think it might be my fav poem of yours.
You did an amazing job on this one babe, like your own story of how we meet but in a poem i think its better then mine.
Its amazing how great the rhyming was, and how it related so much to everything that happened that day.
Your truly talented, im so lucky to have a guy that writes me such sweet poems.
