Clarity

Clarity

A Poem by Willow Radcliffe
"

Third poem, again sort of looks at the idea of noise and surroundings, but this time it's slightly different.

"
Sometimes time passes
so quickly that,
I just get so caught up
in the moment.
And when it gets like that,
when everything is blurry
and makes my head hurt,
there are these points
of startling clarity,
when I see her
and everything makes sense.
It's like every time I hear
my favorite song,
and I just feel this
overwhelming calm.
Do you understand that?
When you meet this
perfect person,
and when you look at them,
they're so much brighter
than everyone else?
Because I do,
I absolutely do.

I definitely understand...sometimes all it takes is one positive memory to halt the insanity that time threatens to burden us with...I enjoyed this one very much, it put my mind at ease and brought many of my own positive memories to the surface...nicely done willow :)

It's very nice. Have considered writing it as prose? Short paragraphs of emotion.
