ChangeA Chapter by Willow RadcliffeChristopher's POV'I...You're back' She didn't tell me she was coming. And she's different. I have no idea if she's still the girl I fell in love with. I hope she is. She's approaches the table. There's something withdrawn about her. Her actions seem almost mechanical. Her hair is tied back, it used to be loose and wavy. 'Chris. I've missed you...Your hair is longer' 'Well, yeah. It does that. And you'd know that if you'd had any kind of contact with me in the last couple of weeks'. S**t. I'm immediately regretting the hostility. But she doesn't look upset, she seems undeterred. 'I'm sorry Chris. It's been a difficult couple of weeks. I've had to get myself back together. Do you think we can just forget about it and go back to the way we were before everything else happened?' I smile up at her, because of course I want that. She might seem different, but I can't just let her go. I want to at least try to make this work. © 2014 Willow RadcliffeAuthor's Note
