Chains and whips, whistling night and day
Mighty dreams and robust aspirations
Prisoners to wither away in the rising heat
Never to blossom into the exotic range of colors
Gracing the world with her sublime wonders
Denied, are the assets vital to flourishing
The seekers, branded and carved by brutality
Heathen! Savage! Beast!
Shackled to the searing hot motor
Condemned by hypocritical justice

Before enlightenment, night reigns supreme
Conniving and treacherous
Leaving minds vulnerable to sin
A precious diamond, drenched in blood
Pierced through the menacing dark
The product of generous mother earth
Stolen in his prime, from her cradle of life
He drew an X through false origins
Generations of deceit wiped clean
Former knowledge, without reason in his thoughts
Exiled, from his haunting past
Starved and malnourished, brittle and weak
He finds refuge, in the longing arms of faith


Power! The amassed strength of a thousand warriors
Crushed his iron shackles, shouted his rhetoric!
"Children of the sun, dash for freedom!
Never look back, into the bloodshot eyes of hate
Let their fury jet you forth
Deep into the age of prosperity"

From their concrete labyrinths
Tombs built so  ignorance may breed
Generations arose, to the call of trumpets
Blaring triumphant through battle hardened streets
Man, woman, and child stand firm on his fists
Bones crying out to the ears of a hurting nation
Treachery is swift, with no shred of mercy
Cutting  down the seeker, and his loyal brethren
