A photograph that tells a story

A photograph that tells a story

A Poem by Utsav Dutta

The sky is the limit

but the stars are so far

The journey is so long

yet her destiny is afar

she knew , she could make it ,

Make it to the last

I still remember thine,

So beautiful and so fair

those  eyes that were in affair

with her fascinating sights were mine

she wished to be  the best

she smiled and never counted me among the rest

It was such a sight

As in that dim light i could see

A star sparkling with all its might

when those footstep grew faint

she turned around

she knew she would find me in the ground

Holding this picture in my hand

there something i want you to understand

i know you are not her ....

but still you were present there

i loved the way we made so much fuss

My dearest friend I miss you and all of us
