Stupid Girl

This is about a girl who believed in love.

Stupid girl, don’t you know? 

True love doesn’t exist.

He wouldn’t hold your hand.

He wouldn’t hug you.

He wouldn’t do any of the standard things a boyfriend does.

He would barely even say he loves you.

He screwed you.

Like I said, true love doesn’t exist.

But you don't want to listen.

He held another girl's hand, hugged her tight, and even thought about kissing her.

He gave her things for Valentine's day, but you?

Why would he do that for you?

He never really loved you, he only said it.

He lied.

And yet, he is still the one you want.

He gave you a false bravado, but when you found out about her it was ripped from your hands, thrown on the ground, and shattered into a million pieces.

He made you forget all of the things that make you worthy.

He stripped you of your confidence.

He left you with nothing but your shattered heart.

You are not okay.

You might say you are, but look at you.

You are a mess.

You are still hung out over him, and no matter how you try you will never be able to move on.

He left you stranded, with nowhere to go and no one to talk to about it.

He walked away from you like he didn’t even care.

He never loved or even wanted you.

He just wanted to get you off of his back about liking you.

Stupid girl, he never even tried to love you.

You’re so stupid.

How could you think love ever existed?

You stupid, stupid girl.

True love just doesn’t exist.
