The HypocriteA Poem by Ursula Kay VosA twisted tale of life and its reflections, UKV.
Looking into Dark and stormy eyes
Seeing wise words Spoken by a foolish mind
Makes me think Its all a lie
Yeah, you did that Once upon a time
What are you doing now That is, if you care to read this rhyme
Looking into what was once warm brown eyes
Now all I see Are puddles of mud Filled by your lies
Now you want to cry! Now you apologize!
Better hope it's not too late That your omissions haven't cost you Your prize
Looking in this mirror Wondering Why
Tears fill my eyes Why I didn't realize
It was my own eyes Telling those horrid lies.
