All The Small ThingsA Poem by Ursa majorThis poem is all about the things we take for granted. The things hidden in plain sight, but never notice. So look up towards the sky, and smell the flowers. And see the small things hidden inside
All the small things
I am the forest enchanted light between branches Crickets playing their part In the symphony of the trees T’was I the owl in the night the moon, grass and the pine all weeping a sacred chime I am the sea Waves crashing with the rage of the earth ocean exhaling from its small hurt Its light doesn't need to fly Flames going down now starless Whales dancing in the mist of sky
I am the swampy marsh water flows from tears once cried sheltered being but that I tried painted trees on water edge egrets are flying overhead But now I am forgotten like burning pages of dead folklore I am the places you look for the treasures you find Speak of me as I am for I am all the small things Hidden inside © 2023 Ursa majorReviews
