Let Him InA Poem by Ursa majorWhen fear and anxiety take over the mind Nothing you can think of or find The stress fills your memory, your life You can't think can't act He says to jump in And let him in But instead, he pushed you in Calm down don't worry they say For your worry will melt away Instead, you start panicking Knotted lungs and stolen breath And you let him in But then a voice speaks And lends you a hand Out of the darkness and quicksand That voice is bright From which you will need And burns the stress For voice killed him To help each other from calm greed Just to talk or even stay Now your worries will truly melt away © 2023 Ursa major |
