As One

As One

A Poem by Jaffer
"

Thoughts

"
Dwell with me in togetherness
but not cloistered in each other's space

Bond with me in love
but without tying each other up in ropes and strings

Stand with me in oneness but without usurping each other's shadows

Think and care for me but let me not become your obsession

Be my co-traveller on this path but without losing sight of our individual destinations

Let us be as the strings of the harp and lyre that lie parallel yet make the most beautiful music together

"Let us be as the strings of the harp and lyre that lie parallel yet make the most beautiful music together"
The best thing I've read today. Something that we really need to understand about maintaining distance in
love and respecting each other's private space. This gives us a reason to love even harder.
