All hopes need to end

All hopes need to end

A Poem by Urbija goswami

Sometimes when you see a beggar on street,
You start thinking he is in pain,
But you never know on what ground he rests his feet,
In the end all hopes need to end.

Sometimes when you see gray clouds roll by,
You think it is going to rain,
But that does not always comply,
In the end all hopes need to end.

Perhaps we should broaden our expectations on people and events, rather than give up on hope. I don't think anyone wants to live a life filled with despair, especially when you can hope for beautiful days. Even when one does not come, it does not mean that it will never happen. It's like the saying goes, "expect the worse; hope for the best". We never know what the future holds.

Anyways, this is very good. Great job!

I feel that this poem is telling me not to expect (hope) things to be or be seen in a certain way. I have learned expectations (hope) are generally never met. I liked the flow of this as well.
