I saw a man

with super human hair

throwing rocks and curses

at the river

he would scream like an animal

and shake his fist

and his painted cardboard sign

showed the state of his mind

with its red blue and green stars and shapes 

and the only words

written in black

said

ding dong ding

we can't all be geniuses like that
