Anna's MotherA Poem by UranusA prose describing Anna's feelings towards her mother.Good day, mother dear. How are you? I wish you could hear me now---because I long to hear your sweet voice again. But I'm not losing hope---because I could still touch and smell your hair---though they're a bit dry now; And I could still see your beautiful eyes---you can't see me, though---your eyes are closed. But I know they're going to open soon---and soon, you're going to see how beautiful I've grown---though my hair's a bit dry now like yours. As I am looking at your lips, I remember your warm kisses on my cheeks---I could still feel them until now. But mother dear, your lips have grown as pale as a ghost---and they're as cold as ice. Don't worry, mother dear, I'm gonna give you something to warm you up. Here, take this soup---I made it just for you. Please, mother, open your mouth---oh, sorry---I forgot you couldn't open your mouth. Then I'll do it for you---I'll help you. Here---finally! Oh, I'm sorry, mother---it's wasted on your face! Oh, I'm so sorry! Don't worry, I'll wipe it for you! There! You're all cleaned up! Well, I think that's enough for now---I'm gonna go play outside, mother dear. Oh, I forgot---I needed to bring you back---back to that fridge. Oh, my, mother dear---your head's quite heavy---but it's okay---at least I don't need to bring along your body. Oh, I really enjoyed playing with your head. Well, I'm gonna close the fridge now. Bye bye, mother dear.
