AloneA Poem by FaveIt a poem about loneliness finding a bit of hope and strength to move on
Some days are hard,
Some days are bleak, Some days I wander, lost and weak. Frustration churns within, My thoughts, a tempest, loud and thin. Challenges rise, mountains I dread, Struggles whisper, "Turn away instead." Worries coil, suffocating my soul, A weight too heavy, an endless toll. Alone, so alone, the void pulls near, Falling deep, consumed by fear. No hands to catch me, no arms to hold, I wonder"do I deserve this cold? They’re beside me, so they say, Yet when I call, they drift away. Left and right, my gaze does roam, But they see only shadows, not my home. They choose illusions, not my truth, Blinded to the depths of my proof. I’m falling" Falling deep. My eyes dim, My thoughts steep. The darkness spirals, claiming all, Strength abandoned, I let weakness call. Numbness lingers, its grip so tight, Whispers tempt me: give up the fight. Close your eyes, they softly plead, Float away, where peace is freed. Perhaps the waves will cradle me, Their lullabies, a tranquil sea. But if I dare to open wide, Will I find a path where hope abides? Will light break through this endless night? Or will I stumble, seeking bright? Tell me now, oh tell me true, Lend me strength to see this through. There’s a flicker still"small, faint, and low, But it stirs, it whispers, it begs to grow. If only you’d see me, as I am, Not a ghost in this forsaken land. Look closer"feel my silent plea, Let me believe I’m not lost at sea. Hold my hand, and hold it tight, Anchor me through this endless night. Pull me close, let your warmth remain, And whisper softly, “You’re not alone in this pain.” © 2024 FaveAuthor's Note
