How many of us have had this story to tell, in all the details perhaps not, but those that have felt the sting of pain offered in one way or another by one loved and one that professed love. So often love becomes a cruel game, a plague upon our souls, appearing as if we were meant to suffer rather than to enjoy the magic of love. Some give in, some give up, some slip into the wallowing darkness of the hopelessness they have born witness day after day. Others find a way, are offered a way, see no other way . . . to break free, finding the resolve, to find hope in love once more; recalling the pain long enough to learn before recalling why they learned.
I love the defiance of this piece. It's very in your face and clearly comes straight from your heart. It's a kind of struggle, letting go of someone who meant so much when you find that they're no longer good for you. Great work!
I loved this! I thought you did a fantasic job on this. So many emotions. I could tell it came from your heart. I strongly can relate to this. Nicely done.
This was an amzing piece, It was full of mixed emotion, and covered many issues in just a few short words. This is beautiful, no doubt. Just Lovely if you will. Great Work.
This is simple story of love and regrets, and wishes to get back to life..
I loved and loved..but things changed,what a shame..
but then.. i loved again..yes i found me a new love again, and you cant stop me now
I will forget , no mater what..you used to haunt me..you lived in me
but you are not welcome any more,a thing was but no more
like a skin i have to shed away and get clothed and be warm again
lovely write..
awesome......... great work... you have depicted the reality of life..... most of the poems related to relationship ends with a sad note... but i like your style... great...
wow, this really impacted me. i was swept up in the emotions that surrounded the first half and i was amazed at the second half. i'm so used to writing poems and reading poems which are stuck in the sad part, but it felt amazing to read one that has a strong "i'm over this" type of ending. you are a fantastic writer. :]
Love this one! I really like the ending: "You'll just be a part of my past, and you can't do anything about it." This piece was expressed and carried out well. Well done. :)
