I know why it hurts,

I know why you feel the pain,

I know that I still love you,

And that makes you go insane.

 

I know you feel my sadness.

I know you feel my hurt,

I know I'm not what you're looking for,

When in fact, I'm so much worse.

 

I know that it was my fault,

I know that I'm to blame,

I know I did what I wanted,

I know and feel the shame.

 

I know the reason why you left,

I know the reason why you died,

And one more reason I do know:

I know I'm the reason why.
