An interview with the soul

An interview with the soul

A Poem by Unwelcomeguest
"

Just something I started thinking about

"

Rage, you have to wonder, how many died for you

Love, tell me straight, how many lied for you

Jealousy, answer me this, how many stole for you

Hate, just one question, how many took the toll for you

Pride, an easy one, how many live alone for you

And Happiness, with all your airs and your graces,

Why is it that, in this wide world, so few have even known you

Amazing! This says so much more than what is written. This is amazing. The titled grasped me, and I'm so glad I decided to read it!

wow. I love it. Each line is powerful, but I feel the last two lines were especially poignant. Very well written.
Thanx for writing

Such great questions to ask. I believe the answer to the last question is tied into the rage, jealousy, hate and pride. Awesome piece.

This is so true and so nicely written. Leaves me thinking and asking those questions to myself. Great job!

This is wonderfully true, and beautifully done. I do see a couple of things you may want to fix though...
wander vs wonder... wander is the one you use to describe travel, wonder is what you want to use for thinking.
I also think that you wanted to say "Happiness, with all your airs and your graces" unless you meant people were inheriting happiness.
Regardless, the message is still clear, and I enjoyed this piece very much.

Oh this is wonderful!
Truly, I've read it over and it doesn't loose it's potency.
Added to my favorites. :)
