I'm always fighting with myself over whether or not I really am myself, because surely, being a member of society, I must be affected in some ways...

This was very well done.. but I feel as if you should maybe put "the real you" before "the fake you" and show the progression from real to fake. if you don't feel that fits your intentions for this piece then possibly you could simply elaborate more on "the real you"?
