From the Ashes

From the Ashes

A Poem by Cassie Doggett
"

I just wanted to write somthing about this subject because i feel very strongly about it.

"

If You Wake Up One Morning,

And You Hear Your Parents Say "Get Out!"

Don't Give A Secound Thought,

Forget

All you have.

Walk Out of the House

With a Tank of Gasoline,

Light a Match

And Watch the Memories Burn.

And When You Walk Away,

Feel Good

Because, Even if You Don't Know Where You're Going,

It's Going To Be Better Than

Where You Were.

And Let Go of the Remorse You Feel

Because They Had That Coming

And They Knew It Too.

After Years of Pain,

God Would'nt Just Let Them Walk Away.

So If You Wake Up

And Hear You Parents Say

"Get Out!"

Don't Give A Secound Thought

And Walk Out of That House

With a Smile On Your Face Because

All You've Ever Wished For Has Come True

You're Free Now

And No One Is Holding

You Back

So Walk Away Form the Flames

And Feel Good

Because From the Ashes

A New Life Was

Born.

I agree with Chelsea, love and freindship are two way streets. Nice write.

I think it's beautiful, but I don't agree with the meaning.
It depends on the parents and child, I think.
The relationship, and what the problem is.
