Loving A SailorA Poem by Unoriginaly OriginalJust expressing what it's like to love a military man
First you're close,
then far away. Even if I wanted, you couldn't stay. Don't fret my darling, my love can last Another month, even a year 'till you come back, when you get here. So rest in ease, cease your fears because the worst had passed, we've dried our tears. Loving a sailor is not as wearying as missing him, but the rewarding bond is more strong than it is thin. My heart isn't breaking, it's lightly stretching For true love is not the feeling, it's the decision of enduring © 2017 Unoriginaly OriginalAuthor's Note
