The Vampires OfferA Poem by SilentAuthor
I am fighting my desires
Keeping my urges all at bay Fighting everything inside of me At this spot I have to stay But there you walk so carelessly So charmed and worry free Well, that will be the case Until you're standing next to me You are the desire of these gentleman A suitor you would normally choose But tonight my dear, that choice is mine And I most certainly will not lose My fingers twitch so anxiously I haven't fed in days How I crave for the taste of you Oh how I want to play But still I sit so patiently My timing must be right If I'm to get you to come with me Into the cold darkness of the night Your essence is what I am wanting Your taste is what I crave Your life I may remove from you When I take all of your blood away Al last you notice where I sit And you slowly walk my way If only you know that every step you take Will direct your soul away You take a seat opposite me And I can see sunlight on your skin Your eyes shining like a starlit night Your lips form such a delicate grin I can see your pulse beat low and strong I am weakened by what I need How I want to pierce your neck How I crave for your blood to feed The time has come, I can't wait no more Into my eyes I make you see Instantly into my glamour you're entranced My dear now follow me Away from the crowd I lead you Into the darkness I aim to sink With you at my hand, I see no better place Than the moonlit park at which to drink Within my glamour you are held But away from pain you will not be kept I trace a line down your cheek The trail of tears that will be wept Your time is now, I reveal my fangs And place them smoothly into your neck I drink your essence, your life force Your blood so pure and perfect I slow my drink as you drop to your knees And I pull away to see The beauty I have left for dead Your life ending because of me I grab your wrist and feel your pulse It is weak but still in time Now should I leave you here to die Or give you what blood is mine I lean towards your pale lips For you to whisper in my ear This one last choice is yours to make Is it death or is it fear? © 2014 SilentAuthor |
