Creep

Creep

A Poem by Kitty

A second too long
I lingered
Squirming and wriggling
I worry

This parasite writhes
Searching for my eyes
How do I tame
A leech-stirred gaze?

Should these visions
Tap my shoulder
Inviting softly
Of soiled sorrow

Neuron-crafted lust
Jumping cell to cell
Knotting veins and
Toying lungs

A pesky pebble
To glitch my gears
Bored lips to call my name
Never looking my way

The gym floor
Drained me dry
Doused me red
And plum-ripe

Setting fires in space
Etched stars tickle my skull
Hydrogen ashes
Flake off - fluttering down

A pretty smile
Knock knock knockin'
'till my steel is dented
DNA-stained

Teeth so white
They extend
And pop! goes
their stalker

Just brisking by
My blank was drawn
The air in bliss
The pleasing scent

I splash the night
Ridding my forest
Of a rose thorn
Bloodying my cheeks

And as I know,
Birds of a feather
Scare the cat away
Crouched and lone - it stays
