Remember You're Alive

For once this isn't a poem about love =]

A heart is there for people to feel,

A brain is there for people to think,

A friend is there for when you're sad,

A family is there for when you're lonely.

We take advantage of these things,

Every single day of our lives,

But if we stopped to think,

What would happen if they went away,

Our lives would be dull.

The colours of the world,

The wind blowing through our hair,

The sunshine on our face,

The rain on our skin.

The world is beautiful,

It provides us with so many things,

Now stop and smile,

Remember you're alive,

You have so much to live for,

So many goals to achieve.

Live your life to the fullest,

Do whatever makes you happy,

Follow whatever path that leads you to your dreams.

Breath, smile,

Forget the past,

Live in the present,

Prepare for the future.

i love this :)
its such a refeshing change of pace from the dark drama that dominates this site. not that i dont enjoy some dark drama ;p

this made me smile and recall a day in my life when i did actually stop and think about my life and future and smile and remind myself all that i had would come to have.
