Heart Of Stone

Heart Of Stone

A Poem by Unloved_kitty
"

My prince charming turned out to be a jerk

"

If I knew falling in love would hurt this much,

I would of closed off my heart,

Not letting anyone in,

Not opening my heart to you,

This is why I don't believe in happy endings,

Cause our ending was devistating,

There was nothing happy about it.

Fairytales don't happen in real life,

I've grown up,

I know that there isn't a prince charming out there,

Catching me whenever I fall,

Telling me i'm a princess,

But i'm not,

You ruined that dream of mine.

The boy I thought was my prince,

He was just a fool in tin foil,

Instead of a white hoarse,

He rode a donkey,

So nice at first,

But he played me,

He played with my fragial heart

They say you can't get blood out of a stone,

Then why does my heart bleed?
