Should I bother making myself pretty for you?

Why does make up exist?

Why do I even bother to make myself pretty?

Looks don't get you anywere,

They attract the bad bad people,

The people who love you for your looks

Not your personality.

 

Yes I like the attention,

But I only want the attention,

From that one person,

The person who stole my heart,

Like a theif

its not a crap poem... all you need to do is sort out lil bits here n there then its a nice, right poem.. if that makes any sense.. ?? ::S :P

ummm, its not that bad actually. you repeat the word 'love' twice in the first verse and 'attention' twice in the second verse. i'm not sure if this is a good thing or not. it would be a bad thing because it would stop the flow and doesnt sound right. but it would be a good thing because it emphisises what the verse is about. still not bad.
