As I take a breath,
My lungs fill with air,
Reassuring me that I’m still alive,
As my heart beats,
Blood is pumped into my veins,
Allowing me to live.

Life is a gift,
A present,
Be grateful.

Even if you have an illness,
Don’t just sit there waiting to die,
Live life to the full,
With the time you have left,
Don’t leave with any regrets.


Live life how you want it,
Not how others want you to,
Cause its your life,
Not theirs,
Don’t ever forget that

Now take a breath,
Take it deep,
Feel you lungs being filled with air,
You live another bit,
Feel proud of yourself,
You didn’t give up on life,

Smile as bright as the sun,
Love as much as you can,
Make a lot of friends,
Trust in the people who deserve it.
