Puppet of Sin

Puppet of Sin

A Poem by Unloved_kitty

Loving you is something I regret
I know it sounds so bitter
But it is truly how I feel.

The words I said
From the bottom of my heart
They fell onto deaf ears
You were like an audience
That never pays attention to the act.

You were never the one
To think for yourself
Such a coward, such a wimp
You will never be able to stand up for yourself.

Listening to people
Carrying out their demands
It's like you're a puppet
A puppet of sin.

I'm glad I've stopped crying
I'm over the moon that I've stopped loving you
My heart no longer belongs to you
My darling, I am over you.

Cry me a river
You're nothing
You are worthless.

Kitty, kitty, what a poem full of anger and emotion! I dont know what to think, such vigorous writing really leaps into my heart. Ill be reading more.

I think the way you write this and have the tone transition from one set of feelings to another as the piece progresses is interesting, it's a popular endevour that most people usually don't master too well, but it worked wonderfully here. I think that your word choice being kept simple was a good idea and it really helped steady out your rhythm. Great write :) I really like the strength you show here
