My vision blurs

My body shakes

With need

All sound is lost

With the exception

Of one thing

Not the sound

Of my blood through my veins

No, it’s something more than that

It’s my body screaming

For release

To rip apart my enemy

And all those around him

I want this

This anger to envelop me

To use me

To let me be free

Take control of me

And take my worries

I scream as I charge him

Not a scream of fear, no

A scream of anger

And joy

Knowing very soon

I will get to enjoy

The feeling

Of his blood

Covering my hands and arms

Like a second skin

Warm and wet

But sadly

It is so very short

I must get more

Give me that warmth

Give me all of it

Until I am covered

Head to toe

He lies on the floor

Gasping for his breath

The look on his face

Is terrified

I love it

I drink it up

As he realizes

That I am in

Pure bliss

It is not perfect however

He is still breathing

I can fix it

I want to fix it

I need to fix it

I have to fix it

I reach down

Grab him by the throat

Oh so delicately

So I can feel the air move

And start to squeeze

And watch his face

For this is

The first time

And the only time

That I will

See him for who

He truly is

As his life

Leaves him

I drop the body on the ground

And watch it as it twitches

As if its trying to figure out

What to do

without a master

I laugh for the first time in ages

For now I am truly happy

Yet I am also sad

Because I know it won’t last
