I Call It Demon

I Call It Demon

A Poem by Serena Kaye
"

Thoughts can haunt you.

"

Running around,

Teasing me,

Knowing just how to hurt,

Just a simple poke,

The slightest whisper,

Oh s**t,

It’s coming,

Tuck it all away,

Curl up,

Why does it have to come?

And scramble everything up,

Over and over again,

I can’t take it,

No,

And I can’t shake it,

What has it become?

It grows and grows,

So giant and horrid,

You may call it a thought,

But I call it a demon,

A perfect description of one of the feelings a deep sadness could cause! Your fear for it shines brightly out of this poem, just simply amazing. These thoughts you state on this poem are very haunting, and the many of us have probably felt them at least once. Good job
