A Bright CatchA Poem by Serena KayeIt's horrid, I know, My first attempt at a happy poem in a while..Starts off so bright, Glistening on the water bowl, Gorgeous mixed in the light blue sky, Shine, Shine, Shine, Rays so wild, Making the road fierce to walk on, With bare feet, Getting warmer by the touch, As the clouds are mixing together, Getting smaller as the day goes by, The day gets warmer as it stays longer, Yet as it starts to go down, The day starts to lighten up, And starts to get a little chilly, Amazing as it sets in the horizon, Many different colors, Colors to complete the puzzle of it all, It darkens to musk, With the bright stars, Shinning as if they were they Moon, Moon so big and bright, Catch is, I don’t see this, All I see is you, Holding me, Lying in bed, All day long.. © 2012 Serena KayeAuthor's Note
