Night Terrors
A Poem by

Life
Bye,
That’s all that’s left to say,
Why?
The only question I have left,
Blue lights,
Devils thoughts,
Gun powder,
Wishing mind,
Eyes set to waste,
Deep blue,
So true to you,
When the lights,
Go away,
Stuck in this Hell,
With nothing,
But the sound of music,
Trying to lift,
Come on, come on,
What’s left to rest?
Getting away with almost everything,
Just that taste,
The taste of your soul,
Just need it to roll around,
Never sleeping,
Never waking,
Dreams to night terrors,
Night terrors to life,
Oh why?
They are alive,
Night terrors,

I would like to think of it as the thoughts that haunt you everytime you close your eyes. No matter how hard you tried to escape the tormenting thoughts, it just won't go away because it is within you. It is your fear, your weakness, the reality.
Dark and haunting. Abstract.

Thank you!(:
I like the confusion and quick pace of this poem - it is reminiscent of how our minds work - great work!

It must be incredibly unnerving to have to experience such horrible dreams. It sounds like you've condensed a journal of terrible memories into one poem filled with such profound recollections. I hope you can find a better life ahead. Deep writing.
