Boxed

Boxed

A Poem by Serena Kaye
"

I'd like to know what this is..

"

Wrap, wrap, wrap,

In a box you go,

Tucked away in the back of it all,

Mindless and confused,

Dreadful and abused,

Wishing and tucking,

Bucking at the wind,

Ice cold breath,

Sealed with a cigarette,

Coffee shop and bar,

Shivering spine,

With a slight grind at the mind,

Twisting all about,

Shouting all around,

Counting of the seconds,

Seeing of the sea,

Hearing of the death,

Eyes of the blind,

Waiting at the gravel,

Trailing of a fox,

All locked in a box,

Author's Note

Serena Kaye
So, I really don't know what this is to be honest.
I was just laying there and started typing this, no strugle nor stop until I was done.
Don't be too harsh, but I'd really love to know what y'all think of this..
What it means to you..
To me.. It's confusing kinda..Just a spilled out heart more or less..

Interesting, i like the way you have merely let your mind run away with this piece.
Its confusing but of course it is, it has to be if it wasn't then it wouldn't be a mind stream of words. All these things within a box. I sense some sort of troubled thought aswell some of the lines in the middle almost seem to describe someone struggling for something and suffereing.

Well yeah that's true..
Very confusing.
Thanks.
Intriguing thoughts . . . Who's to say the box doesn't contain lethal contraband, or perhaps a valuable stuffed bear. Whatever may await in the box we stuffed in the past, it indeed will return to spite my present.
