Sore

Sore

A Poem by Justin Flume

I'm ready to scream
Calling your name aloud
Your bright eyes poisoning my dream
Leaving was never allowed

Reluctantly I now rest my eyes,
I couldn't find it, couldn't fight it
I'm lost in the abyssal killswitch that you failed to disarm,
But hey, someone has got to pay for everything right?

And Jesus I'm ready to come home
And I'll teach from experience
That all you do is wrong.

The black paints the walls
Suddenly I am alive

And Jesus I'm ready to come home
And I'll teach from memory
That everything I ever did was the right choice.

The good looks of a young man are in itself the greatest attraction on his bodily impulses and fluids. Quite often they bring on too strong a love that the kid cannot identify with.

"abyssal killswitch" nice! That is def fun to say outloud.

Strong words and conviction in the poem. I like the desire to return home and show the world what was done. No weakness in the outstanding poetry.
